At the price per night you'd be better off in a B&B

I liked the fact I could take my dog with me on holiday, he was made very welcome and the staff asked about his welfare everyday.
Dislikes:
The local town is a short car ride away but if you had to walk it would take approx 1.5hours. We did plan to walk it on our trip away but it rained. There was NOTHING I disliked regarding the hotel.

The room was extremely cold on arrival and the towel rail (only form of heating in bathroom) switch, had been taped over to prevent use. I'm afraid we had to ignore this

Guest Reviews

Overall rating: 4.5 out of 5
Each year I drive from London to Oban and back a few times to visit family. I usually stay in the Premier Inn at Lancaster on my way up and down, but fancied staying in an old pub this time (the restaurant at the Lancaster Premier Inn is poorly managed). I came across the Queen's Head on a quick Google and it had good reviews. I was made to feel very welcome when I arrived and when I dined with them. They have a fantastic local menu and it's very reasonably priced. I'll definitely stay again.
