From the M6:
At junction 40 (Penrith) turn East along the A66 towards Brough and Appleby. about 1 mile on at the round about turn south along the A6 towards Shap. You immediately enter the village of Eamont Bridge, at the end of the village, turn right immediately after the Crown Public House. Tirril is about one and a half miles on. In the centre of the village on your left is the Queen’s Head with it’s car park at the rear.

From the M1:
At Scotch corner turn west towards Brough, Appleby and Penrith on the A66. Follow this to Penrith and it ‘s junction with the A6.At this junction turn south towards Shap. You immediately enter the village of Eamont Bridge, at the end of the village, turn right directly after the Crown Public House. Tirril is about one and a half miles on.
